4th of July

Wow, the girls had a FULL 4th of July weekend. We went to see Grams and Grandpa Bob in Fargo and had a blast. The girls did great on the 3 hour drive there, but you could tell they were ready to get out and play! We arrived on Saturday around lunch time and after exploring Grams and Grandpa's house for awhile (they hadn't been since Thanksgiving) and eating lunch they were ready for a nap. Mommy and Daddy got to go out to lunch at Daddy's favorite restaurant and then roam around for a while. The girls did great and after their nap they were ready to play! Unfortunately it was so hot, humid and windy that afternoon so we only played outside for a little bit. Who would have thought that we would go to Fargo and not be able to play outside because it was too HOT. We did manage to get in some time on the swings!

On Sunday, Mommy and Daddy got to go golfing with Grandpa while Grams stayed with the girls. They kept her quite busy as they tend to do! They sure had a lot of fun with her.

We had a great time at Grams' and Grandpa's and can't wait to go back and play again. The girls did great in the car on the way home even though it took us an extra hour because of the holiday traffic. 4 hours straight in the car isn't fun for me so I can't imagine it being fun for them. We timed it so they would nap in the car, but that didn't work out so well; they only slept 45 minutes. At least there were plenty of trucks to look at!
