Skol Vikings!

To celebrate the New Year, the girls got to go to their first Vikings game. Some friends had tickets in a suite so we thought that would be a good opportunity for a fun family outing.

The girls had no idea what they were in for and we weren't sure how Little Pie would handle the outrageous noise in the Metrodome. we told them that the Vikings were playing the Bears and they were really disappointed when they didn't see a bear on the field!

Little Pie was nervous at first but then a little girl that was also there with her family offered to share her crayons and paper and she relaxed quite a bit.

It was fun for us to catch up with friends we don't get to see often.

We left before the game was over so that we could manage our ridiculously long trek back to the car without the ridiculous crowd. My biceps hurt so bad from carrying one of the girls. We must have walked around half the Dome and then 6 blocks to the car.

It was a blast! We knew the girls were worn out because both fell asleep on the car on the way home!
