Since today is ANOTHER rainy day (I'm expecting some lush green grass this summer), let's talk about yesterday! It was a beautiful 70 degree day so we had to take advantage. The morning was spent swinging at the park with BFF. At first the mommies thought we would have to leave the park because of the 100 crazy first graders that showed up for an end of the school year party. We managed to grab the three infant swings and just swung away watching the chaos of those first graders. All I have to say is YIKES! I was so grateful that Little Pie was interested in swinging. It would have been really tough keeping track of her with all those wild(!) kids.
Little Pie is happy with me now because the bubbles are back! (See earlier post for background story: http://mgtwins.blogspot.com/2010/05/bubbles-and-sandbox.html). It's been almost a month since the bubbles have been out, and I'm very pleased with how the girls played with them yesterday. Nobody put the wand in their mouth! My, how far we've come! We also have a new bubble toy...Bubble Elmo (surprise!).

Little Bird would swing for literally two seconds and then decide she wanted to get down and blow bubbles.
Since the swing is free, Little Pie jumps in.
After blowing bubbles for literally two seconds, Little Bird wants to get back into the swing.
Little Bird wanted to go play with cars so we started to head up to the front of the house. Little Pie didn't want to go so instead looked longingly at the swing saying "turn! turn! turn!" (We spend a lot of time focusing on whose turn is it to do what)
It wasn't long before both girls were into their bubbles again.

And finally it's time to go for a drive in the cars...with the bubbles of course!
